As a key player in this mission, you will have the opportunity to drive the next level of quality in your assigned product areas. Operating with independence and initiative, you'll take ownership of all test-related functions throughout the project lifecycle, guaranteeing that each release meets the highest standards. But that’s not all! You’ll also be at the forefront of training and empowering the team by sharing your expertise on testing techniques, process design, cutting-edge toolsets, and actionable metrics.
In this role, you're not just a tester—you're a quality champion who actively elevates every product you touch.
What you'll do:
- Define comprehensive, reusable test plans for software. Assemble test data and conditions to fully validate test plans.
- Work with teams to understand product requirements and technical specifications. Use knowledge of common failures and faults to create comprehensive test plans.
- Execute and document results of test plans and identify deviations from requirements.
- Identify and document expected results and behaviors from execution of plans and communicate results with programming and engineering staff.
- Provide assistance for investigation and resolution of reported application and system issues.
- Participates in the design phase of software development to gain an understanding of the testing requirements for each release of the system.
- Identify and execute appropriate regression test cases and ensure new changes haven’t adversely affected the performance of other interrelated components.
- Update existing test plans to meet new software and hardware features and components.
- Accurately estimate the time it will take to complete tasks.
- Travel to US Customer sites for testing and maintenance for up to two weeks at a time will be required.
- Performs other duties as assigned by immediate manager or management team.
- Occasionally presents new features, functionality and defect fixes to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- On-Call Support will be occasionally Required
Who you are:
- Associate’s degree with a focus in Computer Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years of previous work experience in Software Support, Product Design, Software Testing, Training, or previous work experience preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry with an understanding of pharmacy workflows and terminology.
- Experience with Microsoft OS and SQL Server; previous work experience in the software industry; testing experience and solid troubleshooting skills
- Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, including being a good listener
- Experience writing technical documentation
- Solid time management and prioritization skills
- Project and goal oriented
- Approachable, possess a positive attitude and readily accepting of change
- Strong work habits and work ethic
- Good presentation skills

Compensation:
The estimated base annual salary range for this position is $62,069.00 to $94,453.00, though a candidate's base annual salary shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience. This position may additionally be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
