The Role:
As a Robotics Engineer, you will develop, implement, and maintain application software in line with established standards and specifications. You will write and modify software using approved programming languages and customize acquired software through tools like tables and profiles to ensure it meets project requirements and reflects approved changes. Your contributions will play a key role in optimizing robotic systems and ensuring software solutions align with our technical goals.
What you’ll do:
- Troubleshoot and resolve robotics issues reported from the field and internal engineering teams.
- Independently execute assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Install industrial robots according to project-specific requirements and task lists.
- Create process flowcharts and documentation to support robot operations.
- Set up robots, including calibration and commissioning, ensuring they meet operational standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and system performance.
- Apply basic electrical knowledge to support debugging and troubleshooting efforts.
- Perform other duties as needed to support team goals and project timelines.
Who You Are:
- A problem solver, capable of analyzing and resolving complex issues effectively.
- Quick to learn and apply product and process information to solve challenges.
- Skilled at writing clear, concise technical responses based on verbal or written input.
- Experienced with programming languages such as C, C++, VB6, and VB.Net.

- Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills for clear and effective collaboration.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and works well with diverse teams.

- Exhibits strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Prefers automating repetitive tasks rather than performing them manually.

- Adaptable and thrives in fast-paced environments with changing requirements and tight deadlines.
- Ability to travel up to 10% (10-15 days per year) to customer or vendor sites to support engineering projects.
Even better if you have:
- An advanced degree in software or engineering.
- Familiarity with Fanuc and Epson robots.
- Knowledge of extended Microsoft tools (SharePoint, Teams, OneNote)
- Healthcare and/or pharmacy experience
- Knowledge of relationships between software, robotics and firmware

Compensation:
The estimated base annual salary range for this position is $72,647.20 to $99,889.90, though a candidate's base annual salary shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience. This position may additionally be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
