Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains software for the organization's products and systems. Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency. Develops, validates, and tests: structures and user documentation. Work may be reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy. Follows established processes and directions.
This is a hybrid position and is required to work a minimum of 3 days in our Holtsville, NY office.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Integrate applications with Firebase and GCP for backend services and cloud hosting.
- Collaborate with data scientists to implement machine learning models.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Works on Completing all phases of Software engineering design projects
- Works on analysis of processes and delivers results to necessary stakeholders
- Analyzes results and recommends solutions
- Works on developing expected results on a variety of products
- Develops documentation for new projects and reviews previous results
- Works with latest technologies and new approaches
- Reviews changes or upgrades to existing designs or test
- Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions on assignments
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering or related Engineering field
- Proficiency in and prior internships/ projects in Python / C++
- Web Development experience with Python and expertise in deployed web-based apps on cloud platform like GCP or AWS or Azure is highly desired.
- Experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming.
- Good understanding of mobile/ embedded platforms (Android/iOS or Embedded Linux)
- Experience with Conan, GitHub, Git, Docker
- Familiarity with Firebase and Google Cloud Platform.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and experience with ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Should have worked on android Platform
- Preferred using any of these technologies. (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular).
- Proficiency/ experience in building Android Apps is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Salary: USD 65500.00 - USD 98300.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.
