Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Analytical Specialist specializing in Mass Spectrometry to develop sensitive and robust methods for mAb characterization using HRMS. This role involves method development, validation, troubleshooting, and resolving method-related issues.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Hands on experience of QTOF, other HRMS.
- Complete, in-dept knowledge on Proteomics and Biosimilars characterization (Intact mass analysis, peptide mapping, PTM analysis, etc.) using LC-MS/MS.
- Knowledge on HCP and MAM workflows is preferred.
- Complete knowledge on Sample prep for Mass Spec
- Experience on method development and qualification for various mAb’s using LC-MS/MS.
- Preferred experience on Targeted Protein Quantitation
- Characterization of SSR/Signal peptide
- Knowledge on ICH guidelines
- To ensure implementation of SHE and QMS at work place.
- To draft the study protocols, method development reports, comparability reports and CMC sections of regulatory documents
- Maintenance of laboratory as per the cGLP.
- Having the good writing, presentation and documentation skill
- Understanding on good laboratory practices and Good Documentation Practices.
Qualifications
Educational qualification: MSc/M.Tech/M.Pharma/PhD in life science
Minimum work experience: 5-10 years of experience in handling of analytical instruments like HRMS, Synapt, Xevo QTOF, 2D LC QTOF etc.
Skills & attributes:
Technical Skills
- Able to understand the mass spectrometry principles and Liquid chromatography principles.
- Good hands-on experience on Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC_MS), Tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) and High resolution mass spectrometry (HR-MS) techniques.
- Excellent skill set on method development, sample preparation, matrix interference removal and validation of quantitative methods in LCMS.
- Good documentation practices and laboratory practices.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of FDA regulations governing pharmaceuticals.
Behavioral Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with cross functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership skills to motivate and mentor the team.
