Title: Sr. Engineering Supervisor
Duties: Lupin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. seeks a Sr. Engineering Supervisor in Somerset, New Jersey to conduct manufacturing engineering activities for pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. Support the day-to-day maintenance and repair of production, packaging, and buildings services at our pharmaceutical manufacturing, packaging, and distribution site. Ensure that manufacturing processes are in full adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulations as enforced by the Food and Drug Administration. Ensure the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) Control systems. Execute the completion of preventative maintenance and support manufacturing equipment. Monitor the operation of HVAC, purified water, steam, and compressed air systems. Ensure the performance of manufacturing utilities systems including the monitoring of data trends and alarm and notification responses. Review maintenance team documentation in accordance with good documentation practices. Investigate, research, and resolve operational problems for manufacturing production, including material use variances or bottlenecks. Support manufacturing operations for oral dosage technology. Investigate and write reports for quality investigations for malfunctions and conditions that do not meet SOPs. Annual salary: $116,848 .
Requirements: Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field plus one year of manufacturing engineering experience. Must have at least one year of experience in each of the following: 1. Manufacturing engineering for pharmaceutical operations; 2. Ensuring the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) Control systems; 3. Monitoring the operation of HVAC, purified water, steam, and compressed air systems; 4. Investigating, researching, and resolving operational problems for manufacturing production, including material use variances or bottlenecks; and 5. Supporting manufacturing operations for oral dosage technology.
