Key Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations for students with a range of physical, sensory, and developmental needs
- Assess fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and functional abilities within the school setting
- Interpret evaluation results and prepare detailed reports with recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to discuss findings and support student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute evaluation data to the development of student goals and services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Experience conducting evaluations and writing reports preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
