Essential Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Active certification (e.g., ARDMS, ARRT) in General Ultrasound/Sonography.
- Minimum one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Tech or Sonographer.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ultrasound equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to ultrasound imaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality general ultrasound examinations as ordered by medical staff.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and submit results to radiologists or physicians.
- Accurately document patient history and procedure details.

- Adhere to infection control and safety standards within the imaging department.
