Brief Job Overview
*This role is a fixed-term assignment for the length of 12 months*
Talent Acquisition is a key mission enabler at USP and we’re seeking an exceptional Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team. Our new team member will lead their hiring managers through the full lifecycle of recruiting for a variety of professional, technical, scientific, and administrative positions. Primary responsibilities involve deep partnership and with business leaders and hiring managers to effectively source, recruit, evaluate, interview, and select top talent to meet the organization’s talent needs. This person will also lead or participate in Talent Acquisition/HR projects that will strengthen USP offerings and branding as an employer of choice.

The successful Talent Acquisition Partner will have strong relationship management and networking skills, be acutely customer-focused, articulate, and demonstrate initiative in all aspects of work. Organizational awareness, ability to use sound judgment and sharp interviewing/assessment skills are necessary to the success in sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates who possess necessary qualities to succeed at USP. A keen desire to ensure our candidates have excellent interactions with USP in every way at every stage is paramount.
The Talent Acquisition Partner Has The Following Responsibilities
- Conducts full lifecycle recruiting for assigned searches beginning with a strategy meeting with the hiring manager to discuss process and strategic sourcing approach
- Executes agreed upon recruiting strategies and actively sources candidates
- Creates an effective sourcing strategy based on business needs and identify candidates through standard and creative methods
- Evaluates the resumes of prospective candidates and determines degree of skill match; recommends or declines appropriately and forwards qualified candidate resumes to the hiring manager for review;
- Tracks candidate activity from initial resume submittal to hire in the applicant tracking system (ATS);
- Coordinates receiving and evaluating of interview feedback and advises hiring manager in the final selection process;
- Collaborates with the HRBP, Compensation & Benefits and others as needed in establishing salaries;
- Checks references, verifies educational credentials, and coordinates background investigation of selected candidate; negotiates and makes verbal and written offers of employment;
- Works with colleagues to prepare weekly reports to monitor recruitment activity, tracks vacant positions, recruiting strategies/sources, and costs;
- Will support day to day immigration efforts, partnering with internal/external legal counsel and employees to facilitate the visa and green card processes (when applicable).
- Other HR projects as assigned.
Who is USP Looking For?
The Successful Candidate Will Have a Demonstrated Understanding Of Our Mission, Commitment To Excellence Through Inclusive And Equitable Behaviors And Practices, Ability To Quickly Build Credibility With Stakeholders, Along With The Following Competencies And Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated full-lifecycle recruitment experience working in professional, agency and/or corporate recruiting.
- Experience in cold calling, candidate development and directly sourcing candidates from a variety of media including standard sourcing tools (social networks, corporate websites, general job boards, professional associations, agencies, college postings and alumni organizations, open houses) to build candidate pipelines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required, as is familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
Additional Desired Preferences
- Global Recruitment experience within health sciences, biotechnology and/or pharmaceuticals industry
- Knowledge of immigration process a plus
- Experience in behavioral and/or competency-based interviewing techniques
- Considerable knowledge and understanding of employment laws and regulations (EEO & OFCCP, recruiting sources and strategies, and on-boarding programs
- Advanced ability to understand complex requirements and effectively communicate with hiring managers and candidates
- Strong partnership and relationship building skills with the ability to adjust to multiple changing, and often competing, priorities
- SPHR/PHR certification and/or recruiter certifications such as AIRS, CDR, LinkedIn Recruiter a plus
- Ability to help build a pipeline of diverse candidate to help company achieve AAP goals
- Excellent time management, communication, and project management skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong technology orientation and skills related to social networking, sourcing techniques. Experience with UltiPro/UKG is a plus

Compensation
Base Salary Range: USD $85,000 – 108,400 annually.
Target Annual Bonus: % Varies based on level of role.
Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate’s skill set, experience, qualifications, equity, and other job-related reasons.
