Job Description
This role is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of risk management files within the Abbott quality system, ensuring compliance with international standard ISO 14971 and Abbott’s internal quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development and maintenance of risk management files
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14971 and internal quality procedures
- Participate in safety risk management activities across product lifecycle
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Engineering, or a related field
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety risk management within one or more of the following areas:
- Research/Engineering
- Product Development
- Operations
- Complaint Handling
- Hands-on experience with ISO 14971 risk management processes
Preferred Experience
- Experience in risk management activities related to IVD product development, including assays and reagents
- Knowledge of diagnostics instruments, reagent products, development, manufacture, and customer use
