Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in Burlington, Vermont to provide telehealth services across Pre-K through 12th grade. This full school year contract role requires valid Vermont teaching certification in Special Education.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Delivering specialized educational instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs through telehealth platforms.
- Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with state guidelines.
- Collaborating with families and educational teams to monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation to support compliance and student growth.
- Utilizing technology effectively to engage students in a virtual learning environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Vermont teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience teaching Pre-K through 12th grade students with special needs.
