Our Manager, IT Infrastructure plays a vital role within our organization. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include managing and executing the day-to-day task of maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing networking and ancillary equipment. As a senior member of the IT Infrastructure team, you will Manage all IT Infrastructure requirements in the office; in addition, providing remote assistance to other locations. You will be expected to be a SME for escalated problems as well as lead and execute IT projects in areas of Network Infrastructure, Telecommunications, Security, and Laboratory Environments across the Enterprise. What The Manager, IT Infrastructure Does Each Day
- Manage the IT team and ensure all resources are working optimally
- Provide coaching and performance evaluation of local IT resources
- Plan, acquire and coordinate installation of in-house hardware and software across the organization
- Recommend desktop, laptop, and ancillary equipment
- Maintain and steward a budget for desktop, laptop, and ancillary equipment assigned by Director, IT Infrastructure
- Analyze processes employed by Quva Pharma to utilize, design, implement, troubleshoot, improve, and maintain technology strategies, desktops, laptops, and ancillary equipment to meet business needs and improve client interaction
- Plan, design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate Information Technology training programs; Assess and analyze training needs
- Recommend policies and procedures that pertain to desktop, laptop, and ancillary equipment utilization and IT Security
- Research, evaluate, test, and recommend software applications
- Advise staff on technology and IT security issues and planning
- Evaluate, plan, test, and implement desktop and laptop system security and auditing
- Educate and promote knowledge sharing / cross training within the infrastructure team
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures and associated plans for network resource administration and appropriate use
- Conduct research and make recommendations on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts
- Manage and ensure optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, UPSs, and so on
- Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems
- Test server performance and provide network performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining server infrastructure

Minimum Requirements For This Role
- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Technology with a history of progressively greater responsibilities
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Windows, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Desktop Cloning/Imaging, Networking theory and concepts, Backup and Recovery methods, Active Directory, Office 365, Server and Desktop Virtualization, SAN technologies, Cloud Storage, SDWAN technologies, and VOIP Telecommunications
- Knowledge of the following a plus: .NET, T-SQL, Training/Education development, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity, Citrix, Rubric, Azure / AWS Cloud Platforms and VMware
- 18+ years of age
- Able to successfully complete a drug and background check

- The base compensation for this role is estimated to be within the range described below. The compensation offered may vary depending on relevant factors such as experience, skills, training, education, certifications, geographic location, and market conditions
- Range: $135,047.50 - $177,694.50 annually
- This role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus, subject to program terms and guidelines
