About The Role
This virtual Special Education Teacher position supports K–12 students across New Hampshire through remote instruction and IEP-based services. The role focuses on specially designed instruction, compliance, and collaboration with school teams to support student achievement in a structured virtual setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual special education instruction aligned with student IEP goals
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Track student progress and maintain accurate, compliant documentation
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and team consultations
- Support accommodations, modifications, and instructional planning
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Active New Hampshire Special Education teaching certification
- School-based special education experience preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and compliance requirements
- Experience providing virtual or remote instruction preferred
- Teaching certification may be required depending on district.
