Your Impact
We are looking for a Production Technician III who will contribute to the success of the Production Team, applying their expertise in calibration of instruments to support the achievement of team and company goals and deliver innovative, reliable solutions. In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams, demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and maintain a commitment to professional excellence, quality and continuous improvement.
The Role
Advanced-level technician role performing complex alignment, calibration, and multi-discipline troubleshooting with a high degree of independence. Contributes to quality, throughput, and process improvements through accurate documentation, trend identification, and cross-functional support. Provides technical guidance and training but does not serve in a full mentorship role.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform laser and optical alignment and calibration of instruments
- Apply logical troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and repair electronic, optical, and mechanical issues
- Program and troubleshoot PCB assemblies
- Train others in designated operations once qualified
- Identify and segregate nonconforming materials; provide trend reporting and disposition recommendations
- Maintain quality documentation to ensure proper process flow and control
- Support product changes, new product introductions, and prototype builds
- Follow all safety, ESD, and operational procedures
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration, inventory, material handling, and workflow improvements
- Provide recommendations regarding process improvements and product performance issues
- Continuously evaluate processes for improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety

Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronics (two-year vocational education) or equivalent
- Ability to read analog and digital circuit schematics
- Ability to read and follow written, graphic, and pictorial procedures
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong customer-focused mindset
- Familiarity with ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- This is an in-office position 100% of the time
- This role primarily operates in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods of time
- Lifting of up to 25 lbs., several times per day

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary range: $28 - $32 per hour, depending on experience
- Our compensation philosophy: we offer competitive pay based on market data, including local, national, and industry benchmarks. For new hires, offers are generally within the established min- to mid-point of the range for the role, with flexibility to recognize experience, skills, and education.
