Your Impact
We are looking for a Product Line Manager for who will contribute to the success of the R&D, Marketing and Strategy Team, applying their expertise in product management for liquid contamination control instrumentation to support the achievement of team and company goals and deliver innovative, reliable solutions. In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams, demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and maintain a commitment to professional excellence, quality and continuous improvement.
The Role
The Product Line Manager (PLM) is responsible for the strategic direction, profitability, and lifecycle management of PMS’s contamination monitoring products used for water, chemical, and air monitoring in advanced manufacturing environments. This role bridges technical expertise, market insight, and business leadership to drive product success from concept through commercialization and end-of-life.
You will act as the “CEO” of your product line—owning its roadmap, positioning, and financial performance—while collaborating cross-functionally to align R&D, operations, and sales toward common goals.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Product Leadership:
- Define and execute the product line strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market opportunities.
- Develop data-driven business cases and investment proposals to guide new product development and enhancements. Including EBITA growth plan.
Market & Customer Insight
- Gather and analyze voice-of-customer feedback to define product requirements and identify emerging needs in contamination monitoring.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and technology advancements.
Roadmap & Lifecycle Management
- Lead full lifecycle management—from concept to launch to end-of-life—optimizing product mix, pricing, and profitability. Including product growth plans.
- Partner with R&D to prioritize features and capabilities that deliver customer value and competitive differentiation.
Go-to-Market Enablement
- Collaborate with Marketing Communications to develop product positioning, launch plans, and promotional materials.
- Equip the global sales and service teams with the knowledge, tools, and training needed to win in the marketplace.
Operational Alignment
- Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure production readiness, demand forecasting, and product availability.
- Support customer inquiries and global sales efforts with expert-level product guidance.
Thought Leadership & Advocacy
- Represent PMS at industry events, technical conferences, and customer engagements.
- Author or co-author technical articles and presentations that highlight PMS’s technology leadership.
- Continuously evaluate processes for improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety

Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
- 6 or more years of experience marketing instrumentation or equipment to the semiconductor industry. Including MRD, VOC, and EOL experience.
- Strong commercial mindset with ability to link technical service features to customer business outcomes.
- Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams (sales, service delivery, finance, product).
- Data-driven decision-making, especially around forecasting and performance tracking.
- Has demonstrated marketing and/or business skills, including market assessments, prospecting, business development, and customer management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Has proven ability to work across functional and cultural boundaries
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with semiconductor or pharmaceutical liquid quality monitoring
- An advanced degree or MBA.
- Strong understanding of contamination control, semiconductor process chemistry, and yield optimization.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- This role is based in Niwot, Colorado, and requires working on-site approximately 75% of the time. Relocation assistance may be available; however, local candidates will be given priority.
- International travel will be required.
- This role primarily operates in an office/lab/manufacturing environment. Must be able to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods of time
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. may be required

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary range: $105,600 - $158,450, depending on experience
- Our compensation philosophy: we offer competitive pay based on market data, including local, national, and industry benchmarks. For new hires, offers are generally within the established min- to mid-point of the range for the role, with flexibility to recognize experience, skills, and education. Our approach ensures fair pay internally while remaining competitive externally and allows room for growth.
