Your role as a Facilities Maintenance Superintendent positions you to be directly involved in the physical production that enables Baxter to fulfill our mission to save and sustain lives. You handle the line between meeting production timelines and making quality products. As a manager, you are the trusted critical connection between the business and the workers on the floor.

- Ability to manage activities of departments through subordinates who exercise full supervision in terms of cost, methods, and employees.
- Ability to interpret and analyze statistical data and information and financial reports, understand and resolve technical difficulties, interface with internal engineering/technical experts and external technical representatives, manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing plant setting, be resourceful to a large manufacturing department.
- Knowledge of World Class manufacturing methods (Quality Learning Points, Lean, Six Sigma), Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Drug and Administration guidelines and process validation.
- Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.
- Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members. Required Education and Experience
- Requires a B.S. and 3-5 years’ experience or High School diploma with 8+ years of experience in all aspects of the Facilities processes in FDA regulated industry. (HVAC, Mechanical, Fabrication, CCMS).
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a salary range of $96,000 to $140,000 and also includes an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
