Job Overview:
Job title: Regional HRBP-SEA Commercial
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will support the Commercial teams across Malaysia and selected Southeast Asia countries, covering a population of approximately 200–250 employees. This role focuses primarily on day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle support, while also contributing to organization optimization and performance improvement initiatives in partnership with business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
· Act as the primary HR point of contact for Commercial teams in Malaysia and other Southeast Asia markets
· Manage daily HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, contract management, probation management, and policy interpretation
· Advise managers and employees on HR policies, local labor practices, and employee issues, ensuring compliance and consistency
· Support performance management processes, including goal setting, mid-year and annual reviews
· Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality, escalating when necessary
· Coordinate with HR vendors or shared services where applicable
Business & Organization Support
· Partner with Commercial leaders to support organization optimization initiatives, such as role clarification, team structure adjustments, and headcount planning
· Provide HR input to performance improvement initiatives, including capability gaps, productivity issues, and talent actions
· Support workforce planning, talent movement, and internal mobility discussions within the Commercial organization
· Use HR data and business insights to identify trends and propose practical HR solutions aligned with business needs
· Participate in selected regional or global HR projects as required
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 6–10 years of HR experience, with solid exposure as an HRBP or in a generalist role
· Experience supporting Commercial / Sales organizations is highly preferred
· Familiarity with Southeast Asia labor environments, especially Malaysia; exposure to multiple SEA countries is a strong advantage
· Strong hands-on capability in daily HR operations and employee relations
· Ability to balance operational execution with pragmatic, business-oriented HR thinking
· Fluent in English, both written and spoken; local language skills or Chinese are a plus
· Comfortable working in a regional, cross-cultural environment
· Ability to manage ambiguity and prioritize in a fast-paced commercial environment
· Willingness to undertake travel within Southeast Asia
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
· Trustworthy, resilient, and able to handle sensitive situations with maturity
· Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
