Job Overview:
We’re looking for a Global Product Manager for scientific laboratory equipment. This role will play a strategic part in our Global Product Management team. The candidate will be responsible for product line’s P&L and end-to-end product life cycle management. As a Product Manager, you will play a critical role in defining and executing the short and long-term roadmap for both existing and next-generation products. This position requires a proactive, hands-on individual who can wear multiple hats—from market research and ideation to product launch, Go-To-Market strategy, regional sales & marketing activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product P&L management, End-to-End Lifecycle Management: Take full responsibility of product profit & loss. Own the product lifecycle, ensuring a smooth journey from concept to launch, early adoption, and customer feedback loops.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct detailed market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to guide product direction.
- Define Product Vision & Strategy: Establish a clear product vision and strategy, aligned with the overall business objectives, with milestone and execution plan.
- Roadmap & Backlog Prioritization: Build and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features based on business value, customer feedback, and feasibility.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and customer insights to continuously refine and optimize the product. Set KPIs and success metrics for each product stage.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and successful product rollouts.
- Go-to-Market Planning: Develop go-to-market strategies, partnering with marketing and sales to drive adoption and generate demand for new products.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field (MS, MBA preferred).
- 3+ years experience in product management, marketing or other commercial roles within life-sciences, medical or bio-technology fields.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ambitious, self-driven and proactive attitude with ownership mindset.
- Can adapt to global business travels up to 25%.
