In this role, you will support Portfolio Executives and team members in developing national pharmacy contracts that reduce spend, improve operational efficiency, and maximize value for healthcare clients. You will assist with contract lifecycle activities, cost savings initiatives, and stakeholder communications while strengthening supplier relationships. You will analyze data, contribute to sourcing and contracting strategies, and support portfolio performance through coordination, research, and administrative execution. Responsibilities:
- Analyze pharmaceutical, financial, operational, and market data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support development of contracting and sourcing strategies through research and financial analysis.
- Assist in managing contract lifecycle activities, including contract documentation and amendments.
- Coordinate fulfillment of contract requirements to support overall portfolio management.
- Prepare materials for supplier meetings, client business reviews, and internal presentations.
- Capture and document insights from client engagements to support strategic planning.
- Track portfolio performance, including contract sales, savings, revenue, and compliance metrics.
- Assist with development of budgets, forecasts, and revenue projections.
- Communicate contract updates, enhancements, and portfolio insights to clients and internal teams.
- Support low-complexity bids and negotiations under supervision. Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred.
- No prior experience required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical industry trends preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data analysis tools and reporting platforms preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Ability to interpret data and support development of actionable insights.
- Willingness to travel. Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
