Job Description
Eurofins PSS is seeking a Purification Scientist to permanently work at a client site to support purification and analytical characterization of gene therapy cell culture samples. The successful employee will thrive in a high throughput environment, utilizing automated and manual instruments.
Position Responsibilities
- Completing purification runs utilizing Tecan mini-column or tip-based runs, protein maker runs, AKTA bench top runs, or other approved methods
- Packing columns, prepping samples, running assays
- Documentation and data analysis, interpretation, and reporting
- Adapting to rapid changes in a fast-paced environment is essential
Qualifications
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in a life sciences discipline (Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.) with at least a year of industry experience in purification using HPLC or AKTA
- Strong pipetting skills
- Ability and willingness to learn and work with automation/robotic handlers
- Must have a strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze data
- Must be eligible to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tecan or other automated liquid handlers
- Experience working in a GMP, GLP, or GxP environment
