Key Qualifications
- Hold a Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Professional Teacher License with a Special Education Generalist Endorsement (ages 5-21).
- Applicants must provide proof of licensure or active application for the appropriate SPED license; substitute, temporary, interim, or other provisional licenses are not accepted.
- Demonstrated expertise in instructional practices and strategies specific to special designed instruction.
- Extensive knowledge of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process and experience collaborating effectively with IEP team members.
- Strong experience supporting students working on alternative standards.
- Availability for full-time, 40 hours per week; in-person role (not open to virtual or hybrid settings).
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement individualized instruction that meets the needs of students with disabilities.
- Develop and monitor IEP goals and accommodations in partnership with multidisciplinary teams.
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to support diverse learners and adapt instruction to student abilities.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate progress regularly with parents, staff, and administrators.
