An opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2025-2026 school year in Lancaster, PA. This contract role focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services in a 5th-6th grade educational setting. The position supports a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework and conducts student evaluations alongside performing all standard duties of a school psychologist.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development
- Collaborating with educators and staff to implement and manage MTSS interventions
- Providing consultation to teachers and families regarding student needs and behavioral strategies
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to student plans
- Maintaining accurate documentation and case records in compliance with school policies
Desired Qualifications And Experience
- Certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in 5th and 6th grade
- Familiarity with MTSS processes and psychological evaluation techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and maintain a minimum of 30 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday
Work arrangement is primarily on-site during school hours with one day of work-from-home flexibility. This role provides consistent hours at approximately 37.5 hours per week with some schedule flexibility.
