A school district in Brockton, MA is seeking a School Psychologist for a maternity leave contract position, running from February 2nd to May 15th. This opportunity involves working full-time Monday through Friday with the option for part-time contractors.
The assignment is based in a middle school serving grades 5th through 8th, with a bell schedule from 7:30am to 2:30pm. The primary responsibilities include conducting initial evaluations and re-evaluations. The school utilizes Frontline as the IEP platform.
This role offers strong administrative support, with a principal and assistant principal who are highly supportive. While there are no other school psychologists in this particular building, there is a network of colleagues across the district available to assist with processes or learning to use Frontline.
Key Qualifications
- Certified School Psychologist experience preferred
- Skilled in conducting initial assessments and re-evaluations
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a school district
- Familiarity with Frontline IEP software is a plus, training available
- Ability to support middle school-aged students (grades 5-8)
