Brief Description
This position is responsible for growing the identity and capabilities knowledge of Health Care Logistics in Manufacturing. Growing HCL’s knowledge of the Design and Build Industry, create Prospects and relationships with Architectural Firms, Facility Designers and Specification Writers for upcoming projects primarily in the Health Care field.
Requirements
- Travel up to 20% of the quarter if necessary
- Possesses a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Sales skills in a consultative selling or equivalent environment
- Possesses the needed fundamental skill levels of reading for information, applied mathematics, locating information, listening and writing
- Maintains a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work effectively and communicate with company staff and customers
- Possesses strong verbal and written skills
- Ability to work independently and manage work tasks effectively
- Maintain satisfactory or better attendance and punctuality
- Thorough knowledge of Windows, order processing and internet software
- Ability to work as an effective team member
- Inbound & outbound phone work: Requires ability to continually sit with frequent preferred hand and other hand use and finger dexterity. Rare frequency to alternate sitting and standing; twisting; bending; kneeling and squatting. Continuous ability for near/far vision and hearing.
- Customer visits, travel & trade shows: Frequent standing/walking/lifting & carrying up to 30# without assistance; with occasional preferred and other hand use, as well as, preferred and other arm reach; occasional need to kneel/squat. Continuous ability for near/far vision and hearing.
Summary
- Reaching out to companies to promote, show and introduce our capabilities and existing products for new and remodel projects.
- Working with the decision makers before the project is underway will allow us to introduce solutions.
- Working with the Manufacturing Division to determine our capabilities for unique products.
- Effectively present and Communicate with prospects, partners and current customers about the products we can create with their input.
- Monitoring Plan rooms to find leads for new builds and following up with the Contractors awarded the bids for signage, furnishings, cabinetry, metal and plastic products.
- This position would include presentations to Designers, Specification Writers and Facility Decision Makers prior to projects to make them aware of items available, design changes to existing products and receive their input for our Manufacturing team.
- Outbound calling to schedule appointments for presentations, create and collect a portfolio of both sample presentation pieces and literature including detailed specifications for review.
- Scheduling Tours of Manufacturing with Prospects
- Collaborating constantly with manufacturing to create prototypes and research materials used for specifications.
- Communicate with the Sales Dept. to help grow their knowledge of items created that may benefit their like customers.
- Communicate after the sale with the end user for feedback and examples of how this product is being utilized for our research.
