Special Education Co-Op and member district programs to provide essential therapy services to students with special needs.
Location:
- Naperville, IL (with assignments also in Burbank, IL within member districts)
Role Overview:You will provide occupational therapy services to students in a combination of A.E.R.O. classrooms and various member district educational settings. The role focuses on supporting children with special education needs through tailored therapeutic interventions that promote their academic and functional success.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions to school-aged children
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches to student care
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with school-based practice experience
- Knowledge and experience working within special education frameworks
