A full-time or part-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in the Rock Hall, MD area, with the possibility of renewal. This contract role serves multiple school levels, including three elementary, one middle, and one high school, providing a dynamic and diverse working environment. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, with options between 7:20 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 3:50 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations including cognitive, social/emotional/behavioral, and adaptive assessments for students from PK-21.
- Develop Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as needed.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Student Support Team (SST) meetings.
- Potentially support counseling services, although no current caseload exists for school psychologist-led counseling.
- Collaborate with educators and staff across multiple schools to support student success.
Qualifications
- Must hold certification as a Maryland School Psychologist.
- Experience in school psychology is preferred to ensure readiness for varied assignments and assessments.
- Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and behavioral strategy development.
- Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple school settings.
