About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Continuous Improvement Engineer to support the successful implementation and sustainability of business excellence initiatives at our site. This role plays a critical part in driving cultural transformation, enabling continuous improvement, and ensuring operational standards are upheld across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Functions & Objectives
- Support leadership and project teams in the timely and effective implementation of business excellence programs.
- Serve as a change agent, fostering engagement and motivating others to achieve objectives with urgency and collaboration.
- Identify, lead, and facilitate process improvement projects, workshops, and training sessions to drive cultural and operational change.
- Conduct root cause analyses, evaluate operational metrics, troubleshoot issues related to distribution, warehousing, material flow, production capacity, and facility layout.
- Develop and maintain process documentation to support operational standardization.
- Actively manage and sustain Operational Excellence (OpEx) foundations, including: 5S Visual Factory practices GMP standards
- Ensure compliance with EHS audit requirements, including safety meeting completion, zero major audit observations, near-miss reporting, and BBS adherence.
- Partner with management to ensure employee participation in OpEx activities and training programs at all levels.
- Must have Engineering 4 year degree. Entry level okay as long as the candidate has relevant co op or intern exp. Prefer local candidates.
