Support the development and well-being of students as a Behavior Specialist/Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a full-time contract role based in Cleveland, TN, supporting schools within the Chattanooga area. This position is focused on delivering expert behavior analysis and intervention services to support students and staff across multiple school locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of 10-12 students requiring behavioral support.
- Supervise and provide guidance to 1-2 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
- Collaborate with school teams to develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans.
- Participate in and complete a 4-day Therapeutic Crisis Intervention System (TCIS) training, funded by the school district.
- Maintain compliance with district requirements, including fingerprinting and credentialing processes.
- Work full-time hours, typically 7:15 AM to 4:15 PM, with potential for a flexible schedule.
Qualifications And Experience
- Active BCBA licensure and national certification are mandatory.
- A minimum of 0 years, with up to 10+ years of experience in school-based behavior analysis considered.
- Experience supervising RBTs and working within educational environments is preferred.
- Commitment to timely completion of required training and district compliance.
Location:This role serves various schools within the Chattanooga area and requires occasional travel between assignments.
