A specialized role is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide expert behavioral support within K-12 self-contained programs. This full-time, contract position focuses on working collaboratively with educators to enhance student outcomes through data-driven strategies and behavioral interventions.
Location:Jacksonville, FL (Duval County Public Schools)
This is an on-site opportunity supporting multiple schools (5-7) with itinerant responsibilities. Specific schools will be assigned upon placement.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement behavior intervention plans.
- Provide support through observations, data collection assistance, and strategy modeling.
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and contribute to positive behavior support plans.
- Coach and advise school staff to improve individual student behavior outcomes.
- Serve as a resource within self-contained classrooms across the district, focusing on K-12 students.
Qualifications And Experience
- Active BCBA licensure is required.
- Proven experience working in school settings, ideally with K-12 populations.
- Strong understanding of behavioral interventions and data collection methods.

Position Details
