Who we’re looking for:
The Director, Product is accountable for the strategy, delivery, and performance of a portfolio of product and service offerings for the Long-Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy and Post-Acute GPO and Pharmacy Services Administrator business. This role translates customer, market, and manufacturer needs into differentiated, scalable offerings that improve member outcomes and drive enterprise value.
The Director sets product vision and portfolio strategy, owns the roadmap, and leads commercialization to ensure strong adoption and measurable business impact, including retention, revenue growth, utilization, customer experience, and NPS. The portfolio includes commercialized GPO programs, pharmacy administrative services, and digital and analytics-enabled solutions that support decision-making and optimize clinical and operational workflows.
This leader focuses on outcomes rather than activity by defining where to play, how to win, and how resources are allocated across the portfolio to maximize impact. The role balances investment trade-offs, aligns cross-functional stakeholders, and drives execution through influence. A successful candidate demonstrates proven experience developing and executing product strategies informed by Voice-of-Customer insights and market intelligence dynamics, along with strong business and financial acumen and a results-oriented mindset. Success is measured by sustained customer value, adoption, and growth rather than product delivery alone.
What You’ll Be Doing: Product Strategy, Portfolio & Lifecycle Leadership

- Own the product vision, multi-year strategy, and roadmap for the LTC/Post Acute product portfolio
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle in alignment with the organization’s product discipline (intake → development → launch → optimization)
- Make portfolio-level prioritization and investment trade-off decisions across competing initiatives, resources, and timelines, including decisions to scale, reinvest in, or sunset products
- Ensure strong product-market fit and clear differentiation across offerings
- Own launch excellence, including value hypotheses, success metrics, post-launch performance reviews, and continuous improvement
- Drive measurable business and customer outcomes across adoption, retention, revenue, utilization, and customer experience
Customer & Market Intelligence (VoC-Driven Product Management)
Measured by: VoC usage, customer fit, and experience improvement
- Source, synthesize, and apply Voice of Customer and market intelligence to inform product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle decisions
- Apply GPO and pharmacy operations business acumen to deeply understand customer workflows, needs, and pain points
- Translate complex or ambiguous problems into clear product opportunities and actionable value propositions
- Ensure product concepts and launches are grounded in validated customer needs, clear value hypotheses, and defined success metrics
- Inform ongoing product optimization and portfolio decisions through customer feedback and performance insights
Cross-Functional Influence & Execution
- Drive aligned execution across Marketing, Commercial, Technology/IT, Finance, Data & Analytics, and Legal/Compliance to deliver on product strategy
- Advance initiatives through influence-based leadership to enable timely decisions and execution without direct authority
- Deliver concise, decision-enabling materials for customers and senior leaders
- Communicate product strategy, trade‑offs, and results effectively to senior and executive leadership
- Partner cross-functionally to drive adoption, usage, and measurable business impact
- Apply strong strategic and financial judgment to support prioritization and investment decisions
- Leverage deep understanding of pharmacy operations, workflows, reimbursement, and regulated environments to guide execution and risk-aware decision-making
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred (MBA, MHA, Data Analytics, or related)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, product strategy, or related leadership roles
- 5+ years owning product strategy and roadmaps for complex products, services, or platforms with outcome accountability
- Demonstrated experience making strategic trade‑off and investment decisions
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functionally through influence rather than authority
- Experience operating in regulated or compliance‑heavy environments (e.g., healthcare, pharmacy, financial services)
- Strong business and financial acumen, including prioritization and ROI‑based decision‑making
- Executive‑level communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership
- Comfortable using AI capabilities e.g. Claude, GPT, Co-Pilot (Notion a plus).

Preferred / Domain Expertise
- Experience in LTC Pharmacy, Post‑Acute Care, healthcare services or technology, or GPO/contract‑driven models
