Meet The Team
The Dexcom Rotational Finance Development Program (RFDP) provides diverse experiences, training, and mentorship for early career individuals seeking to develop their technical skills, business acumen, and leadership foundations to accelerate their future career opportunities. This program aims to develop future leaders within Dexcom Finance, providing a foundation for your success and helping you create a clear career path upon completion. Participants emerge as highly competitive candidates for continued roles within the organization. Final placement is determined by aligning each employee’s interests, goals, and strengths with Dexcom’s business needs.
Participants Will
Where you come in:
- Rotate across four key areas within the CFO organization (e.g., FP&A, Revenue and Cost Accounting, Internal Audit, Tax, Corporate Finance, Sales analytics and Pricing) based on available rotations and your interests to build broad financial acumen
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and budget vs. actual analyses to help drive financial performance
- Perform KPI tracking, P&L analysis, and variance analysis to provide actionable insights to business partners
- Contribute to month‑end close, general ledger (GL) activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Build or enhance financial and valuation models to support strategic business decisions
- Work with regulatory and control functions, gaining exposure to GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance, and internal control frameworks
- Express knowledge and interest in the healthcare, diabetes, medical device, or life‑sciences industry
- Have strong professional ambitions to pursue a finance, accounting, or analytical career in a multinational US corporation
What Makes You Successful
- Previous work experience or internships adding to a minimum of one year; exposure to public accounting is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present insights clearly to leadership and cross-functional partners
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial data and support forecasting, modeling, and core financial analyses
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly in dynamic, fast-paced environments, exhibiting strong critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, teamwork, and a results-oriented mindset through academic or professional experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, a growth mindset, a willingness to ask questions and seek mentorship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with interest in expanding skills in finance systems and tools, including Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros), SAP, Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks, Power BI, and Tableau
- Able to begin employment in August 2026 at our San Diego headquarters office

Travel Required
Experience And Education Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.
- A recent college graduate with a bachelor's or master's degree received May 2023 or after in Finance, Accounting or related major.
- Previous internship or relevant experience adding to one year.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Able to begin employment August 2026 at our San Diego headquarters office.
Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
