Job Summary
This position manages all aspects of the customer computer hardware and related peripherals that our organization leases and sells to our PMS, POS, and Telepharm clients. The Manager, Hardware Services will oversee the hardware lifecycle, product offerings, procurement, supply chain operations, warranty and repair and manage relationships with our various partners that supply hardware and related services. A successful Manager, Hardware Services will ensure customers incur minimal disruption in the implementation and ongoing operation of computer hardware delivered at the lowest overall cost to the company. In doing so the Manager, HS will develop strategies that optimize hardware solutions, improve relationships, and propel the organization forward.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee hardware procurement including warranty and break/fix terms
- Oversee hardware supply chain fulfillment, returns and repairs/replacements
- Identify and structure arrangements with appropriate third-party fulfillment to facilitate overall hardware objectives
- Work with Sales and Finance on forecasting hardware supply and demand and sales and lease pricing of hardware—including quarterly price reviews and monthly inventory reviews
- Manage relationships, negotiations, and assist with contracts with other hardware vendors and distributors
- Collaborate with Product leaders to analyze and make recommendations on hardware offerings for PMS, POS, and Telepharm
- Coordinate hardware product testing and certification for use with PMS and POS software solutions
- Ensure appropriate levels of hardware are available to minimize customer disruption while at the same time optimizing the supply chain
- Accurately track and report key metrics for MOR/QBR
- Manage Hardware Services team associates—maintaining 1:1s, performance reviews, approving timecards, and other duties of people leader
- Address escalations related to hardware procurement and shipping as needed with vendors and/or clients
- Seeks opportunities for process improvement to constantly improve our client experience
- May be responsible for additional special projects and tasks as business needs are determined
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS
- Prior experience with computers/technology
- Experience with NetSuite and SalesForce preferred
- Experience working in distribution center/warehouse
- Prior experience leading a team
- Customer Service, Vendor management, Inventory Mgmt skills preferred
Education & Experience Requirements
- Minimum years of work experience: 3 years
- Minimum level of education or education/experience: Bachelors or equivalent work experience
