Meet The Team
Dexcom is seeking a highly skilled Maximo Senior Developer – Team Lead to support the continued transformation of our global Maximo MAS 9 implementation. This IT role will lead the design, development, and deployment of Maximo enhancements, integrations, and configurations that enable a scalable, compliant asset management platform supporting FDA, ISO 55001, and operational excellence standards.
Working closely with IT leadership and the Maximo development team, the Senior Developer will provide technical leadership and solution integrity across projects—ensuring validated configurations, seamless integration with enterprise platforms, and alignment with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
Where You Come In
- Lead technical design, development, and implementation of Maximo configurations and enhancements, including support for FDA-regulated (GMP/GxP) environments.
- Direct and review development across the RICEFW spectrum: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
- Serve as technical lead for Maximo integrations with enterprise platforms including: AVEVA PI, Johnson Controls (BMS), Oracle Fusion, WMS, Oracle EBS, Coupa BuyDesk, ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with the Maximo Business Owner, IT leadership, and business teams to ensure configuration scalability, data integrity, and audit-readiness.
- Maintain and enforce Maximo technical standards around automation scripts, domains, security, and object structure alignment.
- Support IQ/OQ/PQ activities, change control, and full validation documentation across all development activities.
- Participate in UAT, release planning, and go-live deployments to ensure readiness and support continuity.
- Mentor junior developers and manage vendor or offshore resources as needed.
What Makes You Successful
- 7+ years of hands-on Maximo development experience (7.6 or MAS 8/9).
- Strong proficiency in Java, Jython/JavaScript automation scripting, MIF, SQL, and Maximo integration tools.
- Understanding of validated environments and compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11/820, and ISO 55001 frameworks.
- Ability to lead development efforts while collaborating effectively with IT project leadership.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Background in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences manufacturing environments.
- Experience with SSO, SAML, OAUTH, and RabbitMQ messaging frameworks.
- Certification in Maximo, ITIL, or Agile practices.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies and their application in enterprise projects.
- Experience with IBM DB2, BigQuery, BIRT, and Tableau.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud-native technologies as part of the IBM-hosted MAS 9 ecosystem.

- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 13+ years related experience or a Master’s degree and 8+ years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 5+ years of experience.
