Position Summary
The Manufacturing Manager oversees end-to-end manufacturing operations and leads production teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality output. This role is critical in achieving production targets, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement within a cGMP-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily manufacturing operations to meet production, quality, and safety targets.
- Lead, develop, and mentor supervisors and production teams.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Drive operational excellence through process optimization, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams.
- Review and approve batch records, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls in partnership with QA.
- Support regulatory inspections, audits, and internal compliance reviews.
- Ensure workforce planning, training, and resource utilization align with business objectives.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Science, or related field.
- 6–12 years of experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing.
- 3–5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, manufacturing processes, documentation, and compliance systems.
Preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
