Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Manager, national Accounts to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for all sales activities for assigned national account customers (wholesale, retail and group purchasing organizations). This role requires achievement of optimal sales consistent with budgeted profit and revenue targets, including development of sales plans consistent with customer sales goals, while establishing best-in-class customer relationships. This position will also drive cross-functional collaboration to enhance sales performance and opportunity outcomes, including market intelligence gathering and special project ownership to ensure broad sales team support.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver sales results to meet the budget goals of the company.
- Manage and build customer relationships for assigned national accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of revenue targets.
- Generate and maintain sales growth for existing products and accounts while ensuring effective execution of product launches and new opportunities.
- Support contractual negotiations for assigned accounts, ensure implementation of effective terms to promote growth and ongoing improvement of customer relationships.
- Contribute to product pricing strategy to support corporate financial expectations.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding product availability, competitive information, product launches, forecasts, and supply needs.
- Develop and coordinate sales presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support Rx sales team in market research needs, driving improved decisions and outcomes.
- Drive special projects to support streamlining of initiatives that promote process improvement and enhanced customer performance and experience.
- Lead internal and external sales support initiatives to drive consistency and centralization of key customer metrics.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science degree in business, science or equivalent with five plus years of experience in pharmaceutical and sales management.
- Five plus years of life science experience with an established track record of successful sales growth initiatives and accomplishments.
- Working knowledge of GPO, wholesaler and retail pharmaceutical markets with proven track record of effective engagement and execution.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation and relationship building skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to provide analysis and market intelligence.
- Strong financial analysis skills desired.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $92,850 to $158,450 annually. The compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, work location, prior experience and job-related knowledge, relevant skills and expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The Talent Acquisition team can provide more details about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
