What We're Looking For
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and optimizing the movement of goods between our 2 distribution centers in the United States as well as our 3 International subsidiaries. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, entering purchase orders for internal company use and subsidiaries of PCCA as well as sales orders-based demand for subsidiaries of PCCA, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery.
What You Will Do
- Create purchase orders
- Ensure availability of the required quantity of material at the needed time for production
- Maintain and ensure that lead times, costs, order multiples, and minimums are accurate
- Negotiate best costs for all PCCA products
- Create Sales order for PCCA subsidiaries to fulfil demand
- Track KPIs and report on all logistics performance
- Ensure proper documentation is sent from the suppliers and that all purchasing activities adhere to established policies and procedures
- Analyze data to identify problematic area and suggest improvements
- Schedule and track all distribution orders and International orders
- Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules
- Work with QA/QC and Receiving in regards to any quality issues that arise
- Help foster trusting relationships with business partners
- Assist in leveraging and optimizing PCCA global supply chain, which align with organizational goals and objectives
- Ensure that department and site objectives are in line with corporate objectives
- Assist with related special projects, as assigned
- Oversee inventory levels in all distribution centers to meet demand
- Collaborate with forecast analysis to ensure material flow is aligned
Who You Are
- Bachelors of Supply Chain, Business Analytics, with two years of experience in supply chain
- Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. inventory planning, warehouse management)
- Working knowledge of MS office, relational databases and ERP system (e.g. SAP)
- Analytical mind with business acumen
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding organizational ability
- Advanced statistical/analytical and decision-making skills
