Description:
We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds. We are seeking a talented and motivated Quality Lab Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine functions of the Chemistry Laboratory. Perform general housekeeping to keep Chemistry laboratory organized. Pick up and receive samples in chemistry laboratory physically as well as electronically in LABWARE LIMS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs duties in support of the day-to-day functions of the QC Chemistry Laboratory. This includes but not limited to cleaning and organizing laboratory general area.
- Perform Laboratory glassware cleaning using mechanical washer and organize them on shelf.
- Organize laboratory chemicals on appropriate storage are upon receiving in chemistry laboratory.
- Pick up drug product-controlled samples from vault for laboratory analysis and Ligin than into laboratory logbook as well as receive in LABWARE LIMS
- Performed sample destruction per SOP and document into sample reconciliation logbook.
- Performed cleaning of general area and laboratory bench top
- Perform safety and documentation audits monthly. Maintains laboratory cleanliness as needed.
- Perform cleaning around equipment and general laboratory work area.
Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or associate degree in science coursework and 0-2 years’ experience handling hazardous chemicals Experience is preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, and in a timely fashion
- Computer knowledge of common windows application
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must have basic understanding of laboratory.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and peers.
- Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule (weekends, shift, etc.) which may be required for business needs.
- Physical Demands
- Ability to walk distances of 1-3 miles per day.
- Good manual dexterity to repetitively manipulate syringes, vials, stoppers, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
