Health Systems Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping this future by partnering with some of the largest health systems in the U.S. to deliver innovative solutions that optimize workflows, reduce costs, and improve outcomes.
What You’ll Do
As a Health Systems Executive, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth and building trusted partnerships with health system leaders. Your work will directly impact Omnicell’s vision for safer, smarter medication management. Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Account Planning
- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities through market analysis and prospecting.
- Develop comprehensive account plans for targeted health systems, outlining actionable strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to create impactful sales tools and campaigns.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
- Conduct workflow gap analyses and articulate Omnicell’s value proposition to executive stakeholders.
- Sales Execution
- Drive net-new business across Omnicell’s full portfolio, including Point-of-Care, Central Pharmacy Dispensing, IV Compounding, Intelligence Solutions, and As-a-Service offerings.
- Build and nurture executive-level relationships (CFO, CEO, CNO, CMO, CIO, Risk Management, and Facilities).
- Deliver compelling presentations and lead product demonstrations at trade shows and regional events.
- Leverage Salesforce and other tools for accurate forecasting and pipeline management.

- Customer Needs & Opportunities Assessment: Understands how defining needs and priorities with the customer prior to introducing potential solutions dramatically improves sales performance
- Value Proposition Design & Comms: Understands how value-based selling dramatically increases sales performance and profitability
- Influencing Others: The ability to gain others’ support for ideas, proposals, projects, and solutions
- Building Executive Partnerships: Adding customer equity by creating valued business partnerships with customers; proactively identifying business opportunities for the customer; conveying a firm understanding of the customer’s business drivers
- Negotiation & Closing Skills: Understands how price and value tradeoffs dramatically impact win rates AND Omnicell financial performance
Who You Are
You are a dynamic, results-driven sales professional who thrives in complex, consultative environments. You bring a strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR High School diploma with equivalent experience
- 3+ years of sales or consulting experience (5+ years without a degree)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Experience with As-a-Service (aaS) and value-based selling
- Proven success introducing first-to-market or early-adopter solutions
