Responsibilities
PURPOSE:
Berry Global is dedicated to quality and sustainability. As a Lead Quality Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of this effort here at the Sioux Falls site. We work hard to ensure high quality products for our customers, and that starts right here in the production department. As a Lead in our quality department, you will be in charge of monitoring products and processes to ensure we maintain our high standards, and will supervisor other employees within this area.
Responsibilities
- Follow all Company safety, GMP and HACP policies
- Supervise Quality Department employees
- Conduct testing and provide direction for monitoring product/process quality requirements
- Document all required tasks
- Daily audits and inventory control
- Daily housekeeping and inspections of product lines
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, or 1-3 months related experience/training
- Three years as a Section Quality Coordinator
- Ability to use a computer and lab testing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret various documents
- Ability to speak effectively with co-workers
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ration and percent
- Ability to work with hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, push/pull up to 100 pounds
- Ability to reach, climb, kneel, crouch bend or twist up to 66% of the work shift
