Responsibilities
PURPOSE:
As a member of the team, you will have an opportunity to assist in the improvement of our productivity, help make our mechanical systems more efficient, troubleshoot various issues with equipment, repair mechanical parts and maintain the system for maximum output. This position is within a fast-paced industrial setting, where every day is unique and interesting. Your focus on following all safety guidelines, maintenance schedules, manufacturer’s recommendations and other best practices will help you find a high level of success in this role.
Week One - Sunday, Wednesday & Thursday
Week Two - Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday
Responsibilities
- Follow and support all company safety, GMP, and HACCP policies.
- Follow and support all company ISO, QMS, and QSI policies.
- Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment in a timely manner.
- Performs monthly facility inspections per schedule.
- Attends monthly safety meetings and follows all company safety policies and procedures.
- Clean or change out all air filters in the plant.
- Assist in major projects.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in electrical/mechanical or equivalent work experience.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in an industrial maintenance field.
- Knowledge and skill in troubleshooting of hydraulic, electronic and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of and skill in using all hand tools.
- Knowledge of and skill in basic use of a computer.
- Knowledge of and skill in operating a forklift.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work activities and to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to make practical decisions without appreciable direction or advance preparation.
