About the Role
As an Associate CyberSecurity Analyst at XiFin, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our systems and data. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats while continuously improving our security posture.
How you will make an impact:
In this role, you’ll:
• Participate in end-to-end incident response investigations on Windows and Linux environments.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate cyber threat trends, vulnerabilities, and attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Participate in purple teaming exercises using offensive security tools (e.g., Breach and Attack Simulation platforms) to strengthen defensive capabilities.
• Proactively perform threat hunting and develop custom detection rules to improve visibility.
• Analyze and fine-tune logs, events, and alerts within SIEM and other monitoring platforms.
• Support the design and validation of secure system configurations based on CIS Benchmarks and other hardening standards.
• Document and test cybersecurity incident response runbooks and playbooks to support effective incident handling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity best practices into projects and daily operations.
Skills and experience you have:
You don’t need to check every box. We will consider a combination of education and experience, including:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security or a relevant field.
• 2+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or SIEM management.
• Exposure to securing operating systems, including both Windows and Linux.
• Experience with security monitoring and log analysis tools.
• One or more certifications, ideally: GCFE, GCIH, GCIA, GCED, GCWN, GMON, GCUX, GCDA.

Pay Transparency
At XiFin, we believe in pay transparency and fairness. The expected annual salary range for this role is $75,000 to $92,000, based on your experience, skills, and geographic location.
Final compensation will be determined during the selection process and may vary accordingly.
