Job Summary: The Manager, Oracle Applications is responsible for managing all Oracle systems, integrations, and technical team resources at ScriptPro. This includes overseeing the technical setup and environment for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and other related applications and systems, ensuring stability, uptime, and daily support. The role involves operational oversight, project direction, upgrades, patching, change control, and compliance with HITRUST standards. The position reports directly to the Director of Enterprise Applications.
Reporting Relationship: Director, Information Services Applications
Shift: Generally, Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm CST. This is a remote position. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.
Scope of the Role:
- Lead all Oracle ERP and associated applications, including feature updates, upgrades, daily support, and team management.
- Drive process mapping, reengineering, business functional design, and project management to meet timelines and deliver results.
- Manage Oracle vendor relationships across all product lines.
- Oversee IT controls, software development life cycle (SDLC), and release processes.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, Business Analysts, and stakeholders on Oracle EBS and related ERP applications.
- Manage change control for patching, upgrades, and object migrations.
- Ensure audit compliance for HITRUST standards.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets; assist in setting roadmaps and Oracle product direction.
- Mentor team members and partner with business leads.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite in a leadership role.
- Oracle Certified Professional is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies and DevOps environments.
- Previous experience managing Oracle technical staff including mentoring and coaching.
- Proven history of successfully delivering on major Oracle EBS technology implementations. Previous Oracle application experience with one or multiple systems including Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Extensive work in supporting Oracle ERP applications including Oracle EBS 12+ requirements gathering and analysis, scope definition, resource requirements, cost accounting, risk mitigation, and integration.
- Must have Oracle EBS 12 experience as this role is in direct support of operational functions, attributes, module setups, etc. regarding our Oracle 12.2 implementation.
- Experience with Vertex tax engine with EBS applications.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database management systems and architecture.
- The ideal candidate will have a background working as a developer/configurator with Oracle EBS and/or associated technologies. This role is hands-on as well as leadership, people management and business/functional knowledge. As an example, they must be comfortable with SQL queries (PL/SQL) and integration methods such as XML or WebServices.
- Deep understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Order Management, Inventory) and their functionalities. This role requires experience in management of Finance, Account, and Manufacturing functions and the candidate must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of business functional.
- This role is required to be able to effectively communicate, articulate and present regularly, both orally and in writing, to senior management as well as all levels within the company. Strong leadership and decision-making skills to manage a team and lead initiatives.
- Must be an action and results-oriented professional. Pro-active and able to engender high levels of confidence throughout the entire organization.
- Experienced in working across functional areas to develop sound, effective business solutions that align with company and department objectives. Proven skill in identifying ‘big picture’ ideas and reducing and simplifying them into action plans/initiatives.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions: This office-based position requires routine use of standard equipment and extended computer use. Candidates must be able to sit, use hands, fingers, and occasionally lift, squat, stoop, bend, and reach. Problem-solving, practical learning, and instruction interpretation skills are essential.
