We’rehiring aCommercial Account Executive to drive new business for ourReal WorldData team, with a focus onMarketScansolutions. This role is ideal for a strategic hunter who thrives at the intersection of data, analytics, and impact.You’llidentify, engage, andqualifynew client opportunities through targeted outreach and consultative selling—then transition them toaccountteams for long-term growth.

How you will contribute:

Drivenew client acquisition and revenue growthforMarketScan’sReal World Data (RWD) solutions byidentifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities across life sciences, biotech, and healthcare sectors.

Lead theend-to-end sales process— from strategic prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close — ensuringMarketScan’sofferings are positioned as essential to clients’ pricing, evidence generation, and market access strategies.

Develop and executetargeted go-to-market plansthat expandMarketScan’sfootprint within theReal WorldData ecosystem and open new channels for growth.

Engage executive, scientific, and operational stakeholders toestablishtrusted advisor relationshipsand articulate the strategic and scientific value ofMarketScan’sdata assets.

Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, and Delivery teams to design tailored solutions and ensure a smooth transition from new logo acquisition to ongoing client success.

Leverage market intelligence, competitive insights, andusageanalytics to uncoverwhitespace opportunitiesand shape proactive outreach strategies.

Consistently achieve and exceednew business revenue targets, contributing toMarketScan’sleadership position in theReal WorldData and analytics market.

What you will bring:

8+ years of experience inB2B sales, business development, or consultative selling, ideally within Real World Data (RWD), healthcare data, or life sciences markets

Provenhunter mindsetwitha track recordof building pipelines and closing complex, high-value new logo deals

Ability to quickly learn and position data-driven solutions that address challenges inclinical development, market access, pricing, and evidence generation

Skilled atidentifyingbusiness gaps and creating alignment between customer needs andMarketScan’svalue propositions

Experienced in navigatingmulti-stakeholder buying environmentsacross executive, scientific, and operational levels

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior decision-makers

Demonstrated success in driving growth throughsolution expansion and new use case development

Highly collaborative and comfortable working with Customer Success, Delivery, andTechnicalteams to ensure end-to-end client satisfaction

Deep understanding ofhealthcare data trends, pricing strategy, and competitive dynamicswithin the life sciences industry

Bachelor’s degreerequired; advanced degree preferred

Compensation

The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.

$226,929.60 - $340,394.40 (USD)
