Description
- Partners with shop floor and production teams to train, troubleshoot, and gather feedback for ongoing process improvement.
- Leads or supports Lean/continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency, quality, and cost savings.
- Works on process improvement projects as assigned by manager. Projects will be prioritized based on benefits derived from implementation.
- Reports on the status of assigned projects, in both meeting and written form, as required by supervisor.
- Attends classes, seminars, trade shows pertaining to the job as designated by the Facilities Maintenance Manager or by upper management.
- Communicates and consults with engineering, technical and manufacturing personnel.
- Confers with engineering, technical or manufacturing personnel internally as well as outside of the company.
- Provides assistance as necessary to Maintenance personnel involved in maintaining production/facility equipment.
- Maintains records, reports, or files.
- Uses oral or written communication techniques.
- Supports the department's mission.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by manager.
