Position in this function is responsible to Lead the strategy and execution of value-added services programming for Optum Financial members, including discount programs, advertising, loyalty initiatives, and other activation and engagement offerings. This role will help define the roadmap for member value creation, help negotiate and manage partner activation, and ensure compliance while driving measurable awareness and adoption. In addition to enhancing member experience, the position focuses on delivering brand and retailer partner engagement through co-marketing campaigns and joint value propositions. The ideal candidate is passionate about influencing consumer behavior, creating win-win partnerships, and scaling programs that benefit both members and partners. Experience in CPG, large retailers, or loyalty ecosystems is highly desirable.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Required Qualifications

6+ years in payer, benefits, loyalty, or consumer incentive programs
Proven experience launching value-added services or rewards programs at scale
Data-driven decision-making and experience with testing and optimization
Familiarity with media networks and advertising constructs
Expertise in partner marketing and co-branded campaign execution
Proven solid commercial acumen and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage compliance and legal requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with UHC, AARP, or Medicare programs
Knowledge of loyalty program design and consumer engagement strategies
Familiarity with CMS marketing and communications guidelines
Background in CPG or major retailer partnerships

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
