Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school-based therapy team
.As an OT, you'll play a vital role in helping students with disabilities access their education and participate fully in school activities by addressing their fine motor, visual-perceptual, sensory processing, and self-care needs.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans to meet student IEP goals.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop appropriate interventions.
- Assist students with activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skill development, handwriting, sensory regulation, and the use of adaptive equipment.
- Monitor student progress, document observations, and report effectively to relevant school staff and parents.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student goals within the classroom and school environment.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for students.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Arkansas.
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience is a significant plus.
- Commitment to working on-site only.
