A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting in the Chicago area. This contract position involves supporting multiple school sites, providing comprehensive psychological services to students and staff. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and support services to students addressing emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Travel to various school locations within the district as assigned.
Qualifications
- Masters degree or higher in Psychology.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License and School Psychologist License.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
- Experience working in K-12 educational environments preferred.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize services across multiple sites.
