Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed to provide maternity leave coverage in multiple school settings within the Lisle, IL area. These contract positions support special education services across several districts through a cooperative offering specialized programs for students with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. Assignments include primary, elementary, and junior high schools located in neighboring towns.

- Schedule: Full-time, approximately 3537.5 hours per week
- Caseload: 3 to 4 self-contained classrooms per SLP, each with 68 students in Structured Learning Environment (SLE) programs
Essential Qualifications
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Endorsement
- Active Illinois Speech License
- Candidates currently in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are also considered
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services within special education classrooms
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to students with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to support individual student progress
- Maintain accurate records and participate in required documentation and evaluation processes
