A school is seeking a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one support for a 21-year-old female student with developmental disabilities at the high school level. This contract position runs through the current school year, from ASAP to June 2026, in Bedford, NH.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver daily 1:1 behavioral support to the student during school hours (7:30 AM to 3:30 PM).
- Support the student in related services, specially designed instruction, lunch routine, ADL skills, and community-based vocational and leisure activities.
- Collaborate closely with a supervising BCBA and other team members.
- Attend required training sessions, including CPI or CALM safety care, with CPI training offered onsite in late October.
- Collect and accurately document data on the students progress and behaviors.
- Provide transportation support, riding with the student to/from school and community activities.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an RBT in school settings.
- Commitment to completing CPI or CALM training as required.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and data collection skills.
- Must have experience working directly with students with developmental disabilities in educational environments.
Location: Bedford, New Hampshire (High School)
Duration: Contract through the current school year, approximately ASAP through June 2026.
