A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to work within a K-12 school setting in Ooltewah, TN. This contract position is for the current school year, with an anticipated end date in May 2026. The role supports elementary students (K-5) and requires collaboration within a dynamic school district.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations to support student needs
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans
- Manage a caseload focused primarily on elementary-age students
- Coordinate with school staff and families to promote student success
- Occasionally travel between schools within the district as assigned
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee Department of Education certification in School Psychology required
- Experience working with K-5 students preferred
- Ability to handle a full-time workload of 37.5 hours per week; part-time candidates will not be considered
- Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility for on-site assignments across multiple schools
Location and Schedule:
- Position based onsite in the Chattanooga area with minor travel between schools
- Full-time, contract role through the end of the academic year, with start date as soon as possible
