This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with experience supporting K-12 students in a school setting. The position is based in Hixson, TN, serving various schools in the Chattanooga area within a large district. The contract runs from now until May 21, 2026, with a caseload of approximately 10-12 students and supervisory responsibilities for 1-2 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide behavior analysis services to K-12 students, developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Supervise and support 1-2 RBTs, ensuring fidelity to intervention protocols.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to promote positive behavioral outcomes.
- Complete required TCIS (Trauma-Informed Care Services) 4-day training as mandated by the district.
- Document progress, maintain data collection, and report on student outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support individualized education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications And Experience
- Active BCBA licensure and national certification required.
- Prior experience in school-based behavior analysis with K-12 populations.
- Ability to manage caseloads of 10-12 students efficiently.
- Strong supervisory and mentoring skills for behavior technicians.
- Commitment to on-site workremote or hybrid arrangements are not available.
- Flexibility in scheduling within typical school hours (7:15 AM - 4:15 PM) with potential for some variability.
